We’ve got an experienced team of A-players with a background in AI research, FAANG, and top start-ups and are expanding our team—join us as we reshape this industry!
The role
At Hypotenuse, interns aren’t here to sit on the sidelines or buy coffee. You'll work directly with the founder’s office, contributing to projects that cut across product, operations, and growth. We empower you to take ownership, make decisions, and see the impact of your work with global brands.
This is a generalist role — one week you might be building an internal process to streamline onboarding, the next week supporting a Fortune 500 customer initiative or running a new go-to-market experiment. If you're entrepreneurial and want to learn about the core processes that drive a high-growth AI startup, this role is for you.
What you’ll do
- Build, streamline, and run processes that support our enterprise customers and internal operations at scale
- Create playbooks, onboarding flows, and customer resources that help large teams adopt and succeed with our platform
- Serve as the bridge between our customers and the engineering & business teams, effectively communicating feedback from global brands to drive product and operational improvements
- Support cross-functional projects across tech, product, ops, sales and marketing that directly impact how Fortune 500s and leading retailers use Hypotenuse AI
- Work closely with the founder's office, gaining visibility into strategic decision-making and helping drive company-wide initiatives
You'll learn a lot about AI, SaaS, operations, business development, customer success, and product in a fast-paced, hyper-growth start-up. It will be demanding and comes with a whole lot of hard work but you'll learn rapidly and contribute to work that directly touches the ecommerce flows of major global brands.
Sounds like you?
We’re looking for people with a constant hunger. People who place learning, growth, and impact at the center of their lives. People who obsess over their craft; who can't stop thinking about solving challenging problems, and people who just won't give up.
Here, your rate of growth matters more than where you’re at right now. We look for people who are:
- Obsessively driven: you’re relentless, hungry to learn, and will place personal ambition as one of your biggest priorities right now.
- Scrappy: you get things done despite limited resources or circumstances going against you.
- Hands-on: if you’re looking for a job to do “strategy”, or lots of theoretical planning, but not actually get your hands dirty yourself, then we’re likely not a fit.
This won’t be a 9–5 role in a big company. You'll have outsized responsibility, visibility, and growth, but it comes with intensity and hard work. This will likely push you harder than most roles, but you'll be in the room for decisions, working with Fortune 500s, and growing at a rate you won't get anywhere else.
Requirements
- Curious, ambitious, and extremely driven
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written; able to write clearly and have user empathy

- Highly organized, accountable, and detail-oriented
- Customer-obsessed, with a genuine heart to delight and help users solve problems
- Fast learner who can adapt quickly to changes and work both independently and collaboratively
- Experience in start-ups and/or in B2B SaaS tech is a plus
- Able to commit for at least 6-12 months
